We will visit one of the last traditional weavers of San Bartolo Yautepec, who does spectacularly fine back strap brocade, using a needle as a shuttle. We will travel to the Isthmus of Tehuantepec and a village whose principle trade is embroidery of the floral blouses. We'll also visit the remote Huave village of San Mateo del Mar on a spit of land between the ocean and a large lagoon.
